This annual event is a partnership between the Voluntary Action Center, United Way of Gordon County, AdventHealth (EMS), Walmart, and students from the Calhoun City and Gordon County Schools chorus departments.  Toys and funds collected support the Voluntary Action Center (VAC) and Walmart's Annual Christmas Programs.   Singing for Toys was established in 1997 with the Calhoun Walmart, and brings together the community in the spirit of Christmas.  As the second generation of singers brings festivities to Walmart, many of their parents are reminded of their time singing for toys.  

Courtney Taylor, Emergency Management Director, is again hosting the 100-100-100 Campaign. Courtney started this fundraising campaign several years ago to assist the VAC with funds for children who might not be adopted for Christmas. He asked "100 businesses and/or individuals to donate $100 to provide Christmas for 100 Kids! This simple idea has met the goal each year and helped hundreds of less fortunate children in our community.
